The preparation class will be Tuesday, October 29th at the Auburn University Hotel & Conference Center from 8 am – 5 pm. It will be a full-day of review, Q&A and even a practice exam.
The examination will be given immediately after the ATA Conference on Thursday afternoon, October 31st at 1 pm. Attendees are encouraged to attend the ATA conference…giving you more time to study, attend more sessions regarding the material and the opportunity to ask a turfgrass professors for additional help if needed.
All interested individuals need to register for this class. Registration is $50 and will include lunch and snacks. It is suggested that you order the study manuals prior to the class from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System at http://www.aces.edu/anr/pesticidemgt/ The study manuals include: Ornamental and Turf Pest Control Study Manual, Weeds of Southern Turfgrasses, and Common Insect & Disease Pest of Turfgrasses and Ornamentals in Alabama. Also, everyone taking the examination, must bring a check made payable to the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries in the amount of $75 for the examination fee.
